Newcastle – Exhibition Park
Exhibition Park is the closest and one of the oldest park in the City Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England. This park has croquet lawn, tennis
Hadrian’s Way is one of most loved walks / cycle paths in the North East England. This part of the walk focuses on the stretch in Scotswood area. Roughly from Benwell Dene to Denton Dene.
You can start from Hodgkin Park / Benwell Dene located in Benwell, West End of Newcastle upon Tyne, just off Benwell Lane.
Walk downhill through Benwell Dene (it was unfortunately blocked last week) or through Hodgkin Park. At the end of the park, if you cross the Whitehouse Road, a small path takes you to Hadrian’s Way. This gallery focuses on walk towards West from here. You will end up at bottom end of Denton Road (Old Scotswood Village). You can then continue uphill through Denton Dene, alternate routes are to go riverside on Hadrian’s Way (Cycle Path) or alternate route through Denton Dene across the A1 to Lemington.

Hadrian’s Wall Path is one of most loved walks / cycle paths in the North East England. This walk focuses on few landmarks and areas in the stretch from Newcastle Quayside to Newcastle Business Park.
I recommend parking up somewhere in Newcastle Business Park, plenty of parking available these days since a lot of people are working from home. Walk to Quayside, Millenium Bridge, or even further to Sage and back.
